3. Take your photos
Photos do more for a listing than any wording can, and buyers decide in seconds. Ten to twenty shots is the sweet spot. Work down the order on the right, then upload them to Zillow yourself in that same order — front of the house first.
How to take them
- Shoot in daylight, with the lights on and the blinds open
- Clear counters, tables, and floors before you press the button
- Hold your phone at chest height, straight on — not tilted up or down
- Stand in the doorway so the whole room fits in the frame
- Take the front of the house first — it's the photo buyers see before anything else

4. Post it
Post on Zillow in two easy steps.
Zillow asks the same basic questions you just answered here — address, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, and square feet — so those take a minute to fill in. The part that sells your home is the description, and that's already written for you.

Copy your description
Your headline, write-up, and highlights are copied together, ready to paste.

Open Zillow and post
Sign in or create a free Zillow account, answer the home basics, and paste your description into the "Description" box. Then upload your photos yourself, in the order from step 3.
